Build Your Career at Highpoint

Careers at Highpoint are built on responsibility. Civil engineers and landscape architects here work across the full arc of a project, from feasibility and site planning through permitting, construction support, and long-term site compliance. You work directly with principals, sit in front of clients and municipal boards, and take on the scope of decision making you have earned. Whether you are producing your first grading plan or leading a permitting strategy for a complex site, the path forward is the same. Do good work, develop judgment, and take ownership.

Co-Op Internship Program

The Highpoint Approach

Our work is built on a connected, end-to-end process that keeps projects moving efficiently from concept through construction.

We begin by defining what a site can support—evaluating zoning, land use, utilities, and environmental constraints. From there, we identify challenges early and establish a clear, achievable path forward.

Civil engineering and landscape architecture are developed together, resulting in cohesive, buildable solutions.

We produce coordinated, permit-ready documentation and manage approvals across local, state, and federal agencies to maintain momentum. The result is a streamlined, coordinated process that reduces uncertainty and keeps projects advancing.

About our Co-op and Internship Program:Learn Land Development on Active Projects

Highpoint works with university co-op programs to bring students into the firm for hands-on land development experience. Co-op students and interns join our Dedham team and support both civil engineering and landscape architecture work. You will see how a site moves from feasibility through permitting and construction, and you will contribute to that work from your first week. How You Fit Into the TeamCo-op students and interns work within active project teams alongside engineers, landscape architects, and firm principals. Assignments follow project needs, so your work may move between disciplines and project phases over the course of your term. The goal is broad exposure to how land development projects are actually delivered.
