Highpoint continues to support Abiomed/JnJ with various campus improvement projects within the Cherry Hill Drive Life Science and Biomedical Research Corridor in Danvers, Massachusetts. The work included planning, civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Permitting, and CA support for improvements across Abiomed’s established campus, including 22-54 Cherry Hill Drive.
At 54 Cherry Hill Drive, Abiomed proposed the demolition of approximately 8,600 square feet of existing building area and construction of a new building addition to expand the existing research and development facility. Associated site improvements included expanded parking, pedestrian walkways, plaza areas, new site lighting, landscaping, and upgraded stormwater management infrastructure. The project required Site Plan Review, a Stormwater Management Permit, and Conservation Commission coordination due to proposed work within the local wetland buffer zone.
Highpoint also provided permitting and engineering support for improvements at 24 to 42 Cherry Hill Drive, including employee amenity spaces, pervious paver patios, accessible pedestrian connections, landscape enhancements, and stormwater documentation. Earlier campus work included parking lot expansion, pedestrian bridge construction, stormwater improvements, and post construction compliance support for the Order of Conditions.
Together, these projects reflect Abiomed’s continued investment in its Danvers campus and Highpoint’s role in advancing complex site improvements within an active research and development environment while coordinating zoning, stormwater, wetlands, access, and construction related requirements.
